KAZUYO SEJIMA FIRST WOMAN A TO DIRECT THE INTERNATIONAL SHOW OF ARCHITECTURE TO VENICE
Kazuyo Sejima has been nominated, manager of the Department Architecture, of the Biennal exhibition in Venice with the specific assignment to medicate the 12ma International Show of architecture that will be held in Venice, to the Gardens and the arsenal, from on August 29 to November 21 2010.
She is the first woman to direct the Department Architecture of the Biennal exhibition.
Been born in Japan, in the prefecture of Ibaraki, in 1956, Kazuyo Sejima is a protagonist of the contemporary architecture.

Kazuyo Sejima has taught in the Princeton University and the Polytechnic in Lausanne, and currently and' teacher to the Keio University.
